Smoking in movies

Watch this excellent and fascinating video from Stanton Glantz's team at Smoke Free Movies.

It's called 120,000 Lives a Year and it's the story of how Big Tobacco uses Hollywood to recruit young smokers.

I thought that Demi Moore in GI Jane was laughable when she smoked. She spent 100% of her free time getting so fit that she did not get her period anymore, and when she took time off, she smoked. Stupid.

And now there are the so-called "eCigarettes" which are claimed to be "the healthier future of smoking." If it wasn't so tragic it would be hilarious.

Keep up the great work, Damian.
